A Hokkaido University's network of research and higher education for Global Sustainability

You can find various international collaborative activities such as joint symposium, joint research, and joint lectures beyond national borders as well as academic boundaries in Hokkaido University. Broad challenges on sustainability are covered from environmental changes in Antarctic to the right of ethnic minority. A special spotlight is on five areas:

Global Warming; Securing Food & Forest; Integrated Water Management;
Recycle-oriented Community; and Infectious Disease
